Equation Symbols appear as “?” in generated PDF

Description

If equation symbols are used in View Editor text fields, when a PDF document is generated the equation symbols are replaced with a “?”.
It is believed that there is a font missing from the MMS host. It is not unreasonable to expect that equation symbols will appear in technical documents.
The only means available for us to fix this error is to add a manual step after the PGF is generated to manually replace the question marks with the appropriate equation symbol. This not only adds significant time to each iteration of the document, and there can be many iterations for each release, but also is very subject to human error.

the commands that fixed the server (it needed a libreoffice symbols font pack):

rpm -ivh http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/os/x86_64/Packages/libreoffice-opensymbol-fonts-5.3.6.1-21.el7.noarch.rpm
