OpenMBEE Flexo
Principles
The novelty of and foundation of the OpenMBEE Platform is the notion that everything is connected.
the consequence of this is firstly that a model is needed for connectable things, but also that a model of connecting things is necessary. The fundamental nature of such a model in openmbee is transclusion.
Everything in OpenMBEE is motivated by transclusion as a means of ensuring that Engineering Models, Specifications and Descriptions are able to combine rich technical models into a seamless fabric of human and machine communication of the complete system.
Since the heart of the OpenMBEE is the MMS, Flexo opens a new door of enabling this capability with the advent of high-performance graph repository and time-data repository capabilities.
